When I received Steve DeWinter's book, Inherit The Throne, for review, I had no idea it would be such an intriguing, thrill-a-minute read.
I adore stories that contain twists and turns and keep you guessing. Well, Inherit The Throne, was this and much more.
Melissa Stone, the heroine of the story, whom now lives under the new identity of Karen, soon finds there are those whom are out to get not only her, but her entire family. It starts with the kidnapping of her boyfriend Denny and escalates from there. An assasisan has set their mark on Melissa and she will soon find out the recent abduction of Vice-President Andrew Stovall and the threats on her life are indeed related.
You'll enjoy every second while Melissa attempts to unravel the mystery behind this mysterious person called Hannah, who seems to be in charge of manipulating the events.
Will she be able to save our government as well as her own love ones? How can one woman find the answers that will reveal the sinister attacks against the countries leaders?
I'm not going to ruin the ending, but will end by saying if you adore thrillers, mystery and intrigue, this book will grab you from the minute you start reading it.
Definitely a 5 Star Read. I recommend it highly.

As a lover of a good mystery novel, I found Revelations thrilling, exciting, and full of raw emotion with twists and turns that held my interest throughout the read.
Ms. Dewey’s characters contain one very important trait...they feel true to life. From Jane Perry, who finds herself drawn into solving the disappearance of Jake Van Gordon, son of a well-known business man to Hank Ross, a local tavern owner who sees beneath Jane’s protective armor. To Jane’s surprise, Ross brings out emotions she has managed to suppress. I found the vulnerability within Jane to be refreshing, her emotional journey just as exciting as the investigation of Jake’s disappearance.
You find yourself absorbed in the characters personalities as well as a most enticing story line.
All signs seem to lead to Jake Copeland’s involvement in the fifteen-year-old Jake’s disappearance and perhaps murder. After all, he fits the profile with his criminal history. Seems, he was previously convicted of a similar crime some years ago. Surely, he must be the perfect suspect. However, is he?
The town of Midas could be your town. The characters, people you know.
If you’re seeking a story that will keep you hanging on the edge and more importantly, a mystery you won’t figure out half way through the story, then this work of fiction will not disappoint.
I rate this book 4.5 Stars 1/2 and look forward to seeing more of Laurel Dewey’s writing.

Didn't know I'd be reading two books called Revelations within a few weeks of each other yet it was an adventure in reading, for the books differ in genre and writing style. This is my review of author Sandy Cohen's work of fiction.
Enter into the world of trickster, clown, thief, womanizer and most remarkably mentor, Abis, a man who looks of Native American heritage though speaks the tongue of Greek.
Manny Markovitz does just this when stricken by the heat in Delphi, he by chance meets up with Abis, an unlikely friendship grows and off the pair go for what proves to be the most exciting, danagerous, enchanting, thrilling and humorus adventure of a lifetime. After all, through tests of contact with nature, be it in the form of poisonous snakes and plants, forbidden women or swampy territory, Abis would never have Manny partake in these tests unless he joined in himself. He is sly, this Abis, sly like the cunning fox!
I don't want to give away the story so I will end by saying it was a delightful journey through trecherous territory, wisdom and wonderful female characters. It opens up the question of how we each decide to live our life. Do we simply exist with little joy or challenge or do we forge ahead and grasp each opportunity? For isn't living life enjoying each second and experiencing it at that exact moment?
Manny and Abis will certainly show you what it means to actually live and you'll enjoy every second of their travels together.

One more interesting review of Sandy's book I had to share:
The journey is far more exciting than the destination. "Revelations" is a fast paced and fun adventure following Manny Markovitz and Abis as the duo search for Manny's lost boss Willy Love. All Around the world, their journey is one that never proves boring. A fun read all the way through, "Revelations" is to be considered highly for general fiction readers.

At first glance, BLUE seems to be a typical story of one families dealing with the aftermath involving an illness of their only child, a fourteen year old daughter named Becky. The writing was impressive, the characters true to life, but yet another story about a failed marriage and the daughter whom was the sole link between the divorced couple.
Have to admit I was entirely incorrect in my assumptions.
Mr. Aronica's ability to combine reality with magical realism, while holding the readers interest is outstanding. In fact, just when you think you have it all figured out, Lou catches you off guard and you are compelled to keep reading. This story is a page-turner, full of emotion, suspense, love and fantasy. Or is it fantasy or reality? Perhaps what is real to one person is not to another.
All this reviewer knows is she entered a world beyond this dimension, full of substantial characters who intrigued and stimulated the imagination.
I believe each reader will relate to the story in their own unique way, which is a definite plus. I adore stories that open your mind and challenge your imagination; basically what I call, meaningful writings. Anyone from teens to those in their golden years will enjoy this story. I applaud the author in writing a very unique, compelling novel and hope to see more of his work in the years to come.
My rating Stars!
